Devushka.net is one of the striking examples of
"how things must not be done". Though it has been operating
since 1997, the women's catalogue contains of only 52 women's profiles!
It's not even limited - it's tiny! And don't be deceived by a great
number of pages in the catalogue, they are empty! (By the way, the
same trick is done with the selection of apartments in Kiev). And
to make it all worse, the catalogue is badly designed. One more
disadvantage: ladies are only rated by their ID number. On the fist
page of the catalogue you'll see girls with IDs 1,2,3... and the
latest profiles are placed at the very end.
However, the profiles are very easy to navigate,
though they contain too little information about ladies and most
photos are of poor quality. In every woman's profile you'll find
a list of available services: "order her address", "send
her a letter", "video-chat" and "send her a
gift". Unfortunately, you can send her neither a gift, nor
a bouquet of flowers. It's just another trick of this agency!
The site has a number of ridiculous rules and
they want you to conform to them. How would you treat a rule that
forbids you to get an e-mail address of a lady without visiting
Ukraine and meeting her face-to-face?
Now a few words about registration (if you are
still interested in registering on this site); When you're registered
(which is free), you'll have access to different packages of services:
"registration and publishing" (placing your profile on
Devushka.net and local newspapers) at the price of $199.99; matchmaking
($199.99); "Mediator" ($299.99) - looking for the girl
of your dreams in other agencies; and "all inclusive"
at the price of $10000, only for VIP members.
VIP membership includes all the services that
basic membership includes on other sites! The only advantage, concerning
pricing, is the comparatively low price for a tour. The site has
an on-line calculator that will help you to calculate the sum you'll
have to pay for your tour. Anyway, I advise you to contact the agency
and get more specific information about the tour and its cost, as
the calculator considers only a few services out of a great number
that you may need in Ukraine.
Ease of use: The site is very difficult
in navigation. Sometimes it's very hard to understand what is what
and to find a necessary service. Even if you had visited dozens
of dating sites before, this one will surprise you with its extraordinary
difficulty of use!
Selection of Ladies: On no other dating
site have I seen such a poor database of women. Fortunately, there
are a few very pretty ladies.
Our star rating: 1/10* it's almost unreal
to enumerate all the drawbacks of Devushka.net. The site seems to
be poor no matter what we look at: women's catalogue, range of services
or design. One has to ask what justification they have for charging
such high prices for their services. The web site itself and the
ladies pictures are poorly designed and presented. It smacks of
amateur hour. There are many other professional Ukrainian dating
web sites which you can visit. Place this site in the very end of
you list of marriage agencies. You have been warned.
